It is our objective at the SurpHaces Learning Institute to provide relevant training presented by seasoned pros, supplemented with valuable resources (which can be found in the Resources section of each course), and tremendous support. Following is a menu of the various support options for students.

Ask Your Instructor - Lesson by Lesson

Every eLearning course lesson has a Discussions sidebar to submit your questions / comments pertaining to the lesson which will be addressed by the instructor. Just toggle open the Discussion sidebar on the upper right hand side of the lesson when you want to post a question/comment. Your questions and related comments will also appear in your email.

Community of Practice (CoP) Community Support

All courses offer subject-specific community support where you can submit your questions or comments, or just follow the dialogue to learn from others. Instructors, as well as like-minded peers monitor and discuss. You can find which communities you are subscribed to by logging in at eLearning.surphaces.com and go to My Dashboard. Your subscribed communities will be listed below the courses you are registered in.

Knowledge Base (KB)

The searchable KB focuses on common and not so common, troubleshooting issues. In addition to learning from existing articles, you can submit your own issue to get feedback. (You can also link to the glossary from the KB.)

Glossary of Industry Terms

Our glossary is an alphabetical list of technical terms in related to our field of knowledge. This knowledge base glossary provides a collection of knowledge base documents that define many technical terms. These terms are arranged alphabetically, but you can quickly jump to a specific term by selecting its first letter from the index of the knowledge base glossary below.

The Stone Database is a searchable repository of natural stones. See images, properties of the stone, and comments.

Dr. Fred Radio Show

Listen in or call in Wednesdays at 6:30 pm (Eastern) as Fred Hueston and guest speakers discuss discuss topics of interest to the stone and tile contractor. Visit the website for call in info and to find archives of previous shows.

Stain Care Pro App
